Lockhart Consulting© was established in 1988 to provide a vehicle for consultations and programming using Enable software. This was a package used extensively by the U.S. Government. It was later purchased and went out of business. Bill Lockhart moved onto Microsoft Windows, and then proceeded to Visual Basic in his teaching job.

His son, Chris Lockhart, has been designing web sites since 1997. He graduated with a B.A. in Telecommuncations from Michigan State Univeristy in the Fall of 2001 and was involved in creating graphics and web pages for the College of Arts and Letters. He has sinced moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and continues to pursue his interests in web design.
